Dukes at the Ramones museum…and cannabis in a can.
We recently dropped by the Ramones museum here in Mitte, Berlin. They were kind enough to let us draw on their wall – right next to some far bigger Australian bands. Nice to feel important.
And check out this link – it’s an interview we recently did on MySpace Music Mix here in Germany:
Dukes on MySpace Music Mix Germany
AND FINALLY: Couldn’t help but noticing this little gem, in a vending machine nearby…
Dukes play ‘Runaway’ at home….
Firstly, grab a free download of this tune right here!
A little vid of us playing ‘Runaway’, somewhat poorly, in our ‘studio’/bedroom/living area/shack.
Love from Dukes.
Mirra (who is an Avatar), pretending to be Joe (who is Todd), playing Cate Blanchett, playing Bob Dylan
For a long time, we’ve known that Joe is actually Cate Blanchett playing Bob Dylan in the motion picture ‘I’m Not There’. We’re not fooled by him. What is most alarming is that, now that Joe is actually Todd (see posts below!), Todd is also Cate Banchett playing Bob Dylan. This complicates things somewhat.
And to make matters worse, look what happens when Mirra puts on a pair of ‘Avatar’ 3D-glasses:
What is this we have here?? If you’ve ever met Mirra, you’ll know how tall he is.
THEREFORE:
We have Mirra, playing Joe (TODD), playing an Avatar, playing Cate Blanchett, playing Bob Dylan.

The Harmonica Man
Check out this guy. Found outside Nollendorfplatz U-Bahn Station in Berlin. He is incredible. A true prodigy.

The Temper Trap
Saw The Temper Trap play last night at Postbahnhof, here in Berlin.
So great to see these fellas (and our fellow countrymen) doing so well, and it was certainly inspiring to see them play a sold out show here in Berlin. ‘Sweet Disposition’ was definitely a highlight.
And their tour van is pretty mackin’ also.
Took some snaps on my shitty little camera at the show, check them out:
And finally (so sorry to do this guys), some ridiculous cheesy snaps of the bands together. I am a little embarrassed to be posting these (clearly that embarrassment hasn’t prevented me, however).
Scott looks like he is possessed in this one. Like in a photograph of someone from the movie ‘The Ring’. He might explode at any moment.
