Dukes at the Ramones museum…and cannabis in a can.

DOW at the Ramones museum.

We recently dropped by the Ramones museum here in Mitte, Berlin. They were kind enough to let us draw on their wall – right next to some far bigger Australian bands. Nice to feel important.

And check out this link – it’s an interview we recently did on MySpace Music Mix here in Germany:

AND FINALLY: Couldn’t help but noticing this little gem, in a vending machine nearby…

Cannabis in a can.

Mirra (who is an Avatar), pretending to be Joe (who is Todd), playing Cate Blanchett, playing Bob Dylan

Todd, playing Joe, playing Cate Blanchett, playing Bob Dylan

For a long time, we’ve known that Joe is actually Cate Blanchett playing Bob Dylan in the motion picture ‘I’m Not There’. We’re not fooled by him. What is most alarming is that, now that Joe is actually Todd (see posts below!), Todd is also Cate Banchett playing Bob Dylan. This complicates things somewhat.

And to make matters worse, look what happens when Mirra puts on a pair of ‘Avatar’ 3D-glasses:

Mirra, playing Joe (re. TODD), playing Cate Blanchett, playing Bob Dylan

What is this we have here?? If you’ve ever met Mirra, you’ll know how tall he is.

THEREFORE:

We have Mirra, playing Joe (TODD), playing an Avatar, playing Cate Blanchett, playing Bob Dylan.

Free, downloadable, acoustic version of It’s A War.

with 2 comments

We have a free song to give you! It’s an acoustic version of It’s A War – we recorded it right here in our apartment in Kreuzberg, Berlin. Before we get to it, however, I’d like to bring to your attention some of the things we’ve been noticing during our time in Berlin, which are starting to make us feel that all is not as it seems.

First thing:

You've got to be joking #1

You’ve got to be joking, #1:

At a train station, I had to rush like I’ve never rushed before to get my camera out. This guy is having a laugh. No exaggeration (honestly), it was MINUS 10 on that platform. I was shivering with thermal underwear and a Mount Everest style jacket. And along comes a German pirate wearing nothing but a thin shirt, leather pants and SANDALS.

And second thing:

You've got to be joking #2

Honestly…

And finally, here’s the download – sadly, we can’t embed the song on this page, so you have to go to our Facebook or our MySpace, here are the links!!

Add us while you’re there!

And finally here is a pic of us recording the tune, in our ‘studio’…
